How we handle your information

Who we are

Good News Viral is a marketing team based in Orlando, Florida. This policy covers goodnewsviral.us and the 15 minute meetings you book through it. When it says "we", it means Good News Viral.

What we collect and why

When you visit the site

We count page views so we can tell which pages people read and whether the site is working. For each page view we record the page address, the website that sent you (for example google.com), your country, and whether you're on a phone or a computer. We don't record your IP address, set cookies, or build a profile of you, and none of it identifies you.

We also count clicks on the "Book" buttons and how many people start our three questions. Those counts are stored the same way.

While you browse, your browser keeps a note of which website sent you. It sits in that tab's session storage and disappears when you close the tab. If you answer our three questions, the note goes along with your answers.

When you answer our three questions

Before you book a meeting, we ask what kind of organization you are, what you need most, and your rough monthly budget, plus your name and email. We save them so we can prepare for the call and reply to you. Only the Good News Viral team can see them. Answering doesn't put you on a mailing list. If we ever start a newsletter, we'll ask first.

When you book a meeting

Our booking calendar is run by Koalendar. When you pick a time, Koalendar collects the details on its booking form and sends us the booking. Koalendar's own privacy policy covers what it does with that data, including any cookies on its calendar.

When you email us

Email to [email protected] goes through Google Workspace. We keep it so we have a record of our conversation.

Services we use

A few companies help us run the site. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job.

We may share information if the law requires it, for example to answer a valid court order.

How long we keep it

We keep your answers and emails while we're in touch with you or working together. Ask us to delete them and we'll do it within 30 days. Page counts don't identify anyone, so we keep them to compare months and years.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have us correct it, or have us delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you gave us and we'll reply within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is for businesses, ministries, and authors. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
